China first LNG cargo vessel testing water

  It has started testing waters in the port city of Zhangjiagang in Jiangsu Province, according to the Chinese shipbuilder Tsuji Heavy Industries Shipyard. The 5,000 dwt ocean-going cargo vessel is expected to be delivered to Nor Lines AS, a Norwegian logistics and shipping company, in June 2014.
 
  It is one of two LNG-fueled vessels ordered by Nor Lines in 2011. Tsuji Heavy Industries started building this first ship in August 2012 but did not reveal yet when the second ship will be manufactured.In the vessel,there's small LNG pump skid and other LNG equipments.
 
  The ship’s design was developed by Rolls-Royce Maritime using the group’s award-winning “Environmental Ship Concept,” which won the “Next Generation Award” at the Nor-Shipping Awards in 2011.
